The Dakota Interviews involves extended interviews and video recordings of 100 people of every background – farmers, homemakers, artists, welders, teachers, CEOs, business owners, young and old – to find out what people are thinking about themselves and the state in which they live. The project is headed by Â鶹´«Ã½ Distinguished Scholar of the Humanities Clay Jenkinson and produced by the Â鶹´«Ã½ video production team of Dusty Anderson and Cole Bernhardt.
These archived videos create a record of this time in the state’s history while engaging Â鶹´«Ã½ students and staff and promoting the value of studying the arts, sciences and humanities. The Dakota Interviews uses Â鶹´«Ã½'s fully equipped media studio, where journalism and communications students learn video production, create the campus news program, and stream radio.
