From the Ground Up
The Progress
On November 29, 2022, Â鶹´«Ã½ broke ground on North Dakota's Polytechnic Institution's Polytechnic Advanced Technology Center next to the National Energy Center of Excellence (NECE) on the Â鶹´«Ã½ campus. Due to an early winter and late spring that produced near-record snowfall, progress was slow in the beginning. But by mid-May, crews were able to get in and get to work!
Cameras mounted atop the Â鶹´«Ã½ National Energy Center of Excellence and the Â鶹´«Ã½ Armory are capturing a time-lapse of the construction of the 88,000-square-foot polytechnic education center that will connect to the NECE via a skywalk and include state-of-the-art learning spaces such as a Security Operations Center (SOC), artificial intelligence and virtual reality labs, flex labs, a Digital Hive, collaboration spaces and a live event venue. Situated between the Â鶹´«Ã½ Armory and the NECE, the facility will also provide a beautiful view of the Missouri River.
Time-lapse videos will be updated monthly to document this exciting progress. Check back again soon to see what's new!
