• Yes. The Library has two study rooms as well as a reading room that is designated for quiet, solo study. The are generally available on a first-come, first-served basis.

• No.  The Library does not accept debit or credit cards.  Cash Only.

• The closest ATM is available in the Student Union by the information desk.

• Yes! You can find eBooks and eAudiobooks in the library catalog and in several databases.  Most titles can be downloaded to your desktop or mobile devices. For more information, visit the .

• Community members are welcome to use the library.
• Online library resources are available to community users only when  signed in as a guest user on our PCs.
• North Dakota residents may obtain a community library card with presentation of a current North Dakota driver's license or similar proof of state residency. Community users have courtesy borrowing privileges.
• Interlibrary loan and off-campus access to online library resources is limited to current Â鶹´«Ã½ students and employees.

• Â鶹´«Ã½ alumni are welcome to use the library and can apply for a Â鶹´«Ã½ Library community card with presentation of a current North Dakota driver's license or similar proof of state residency.

• If you use the Â鶹´«Ã½PLEA -100 printer, which is located at the library circulation desk, it is10 cents per page.  The cost does not change whether you print in color or black and white. If you use the Mystic Print printer, located by the computer lab, it will be 5 cents. Black and white only.

• Yes. Staff can show you how to use the self-service, coin-operated photocopier located by the circulation desk. Color copying is an option.

• Mystic Print is a pay-to-print printing service for Â鶹´«Ã½ students. Students can print to designated printers from labs and personal computers while on the campus network. Mystic Print works with your Mystic ID and Mystic Dollars to pay for printing. A Mystic Print station is available in the Library.

• We accept cash or checks (for the amount of purchase with proper ID, e.g., current driver's license).
• We cannot accept credit or debit cards.
• No charging.
• Change is available at the circulation/reference desk.

• NDUS-Systemwide is recommended since it is a password-protected connection. Â鶹´«Ã½ students, faculty, and staff can access the network with their NDUS Account credentials.   
• Â鶹´«Ã½-Guest is also available. However, because it is a public connection, the databases do not always let users log in.

• Yes. The Library’s computer lab, SKOGEN 101, is open to students as long as the library itself is open and no one has reserved the space. To reserve the computer lab, call 701-224-5450.

• Search for the video title and producer OR
• Search directly in the database by going through the A to Z database list > Films on Demand

• Check your WiFi network. Our databases require that you are on a password-protected connection.
• Clear your cookies for the past hour or so (if you have been trying to get in the whole day, clear the past 24 hours).  Once cleared, try  accessing the database again.
• Double check your log-in information. It should be exactly the same as your NDUS Account (Campus Connection log-in).

• The Mystic Card is your official college identification card and is designed to be used for campus services such as dining, bookstore purchases, library circulation, and more. For more information, visit our Mystic Card site.

Do I have to have my Mystic Card/Â鶹´«Ã½ photo ID with me to check out library materials?

• Yes. We require positive identification before we will check out materials to you. Your valid Mystic Card/Â鶹´«Ã½ photo ID or Â鶹´«Ã½ community library card is preferred.
• If you are a registered Â鶹´«Ã½ library patron and don't have your card with you, we can accept a current driver's license or passport as positive identification.

Can I use my Morton Mandan Public Library, Bismarck Public Library, or State Library card to check out Â鶹´«Ã½ Library materials and/or access the databases?

• No. If you are not a current Â鶹´«Ã½ student, faculty or staff member, you need a Â鶹´«Ã½ Library community card to check out Â鶹´«Ã½ Library materials.

• Present a current North Dakota driver’s license or other proof you live in North Dakota.

• Community users have courtesy borrowing privileges only and are limited to 1 check out at a time. Interlibrary loan and off-campus access to databases are not available to community card holders.

• Yes, go to the :
• Click on "Sign in" in the upper right side of the screen.
• Sign in to your account with your NDUS ID and password.
• Your account appears showing all the library items you have checked out.

• Your account appears listing the items you have on loan.
• Check the box next to the item(s) you want to renew, then click on "Renew Selected." Alternatively, if you want to renew everything, skip the individual selection step and click on "Renew All."
• You can also renew items in person (bring your Mystic Card/Â鶹´«Ã½ Photo ID or Â鶹´«Ã½ Library community card with you); by e-mail (include your full name and list of what you want to renew); or by phone (call 701-224-5450).
• NOTE: Interlibrary loan items cannot be renewed in this way.  To request a renewal of ILL materials, email Â鶹´«Ã½ Library, or call 701-224-5450

• A library user requests something that isn't available at his/her home library.
• The home library finds another library that owns the item and makes a request to borrow, photocopy, or scan the materials needed by its patron.
• The owning library fills the request and sends the materials to the borrowing library (or supplies a reason why it cannot fill the request).
• The home library notifies its patron when the item arrives, lends it to the local patron, and returns it to the lending library when the patron brings it back.
