What is CLEP?

CLEP (College-Level Examination Program) is the most widely accepted credit-by-examination program in the United States, with more than 2,900 colleges and universities awarding credit for satisfactory scores on CLEP exams. With CLEP, a student can earn college credit for what he or she already knows, on any of 34 CLEP examinations. A Â鶹´«Ã½ student can earn credits by achieving satisfactory scores on accepted CLEP exams.

For additional information, visit: CLEP is given by a scheduled appointment only and sessions are limited. To take a CLEP Exam:
  1.  to register and purchase your exam. Print out your registration ticket to bring to your appointment.
  2. .
  3. Arrive at Â鶹´«Ã½ Testing Services with two forms of identification and your registration ticket.
  4. You will be required to pay the $20 proctoring fee using a credit or debit card in the Testing Services Office. No cash will be accepted.
